Purpose

ISME (International Symposium on Mineral Exploration) is an international activity of the Division of Exploration Technology (DETEC) of Mining and Materials Processing Insti-tute of Japan (MMIJ). The purpose of ISME symposia is to bring together scientists ac-tively working on some diverse fields in order to foster the exchanges of ideas related to the methods or resource exploration, as noted by Singer and Kouda, 1993, Nonrenewable Resources, v. 2, no. 2, pp. 65-66.
Emphasis of ISME-XV will be on state-of- the-art research related to resource exploration with a review of research outcome in the past thirty years in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of DETEC.

The abstracts will be reviewed by at least two referees selected by the Program Committee. Interested contributors should submit the abstract submission form before May 31, 2018 to <ISMExv-abstract@gipc.akita-u.ac.jp>. The form can be downloaded from the link given below.

Please include title, author(s), affiliation, mailing address, phone & fax, e-mail address, 3-5 keywords, and corresponding author with your submittal. Contributors should choose the presentation method of oral or poster, which might be re-determined by the Program Committee.
The notified contributors should submit electronically one-page digital camera ready paper in English before July 10, 2018 to <ISMExv-abstract@gipc.akita-u.ac.jp>. The template file will be announced.

Excellent presentation(s) will be awarded.

Selected distinguished papers will be invited to the special issue of the National Resources Researches.
